A Necessary Investment for Your Case
Video Transcribed: Hi there, I’m Jay Bills. I’m an attorney in Oklahoma. I’m here today to answer a common question that people have in regard to getting a divorce or filing for paternity. How much does it cost?
Well, across the state, there’s a filing fee that’s consistent no matter what county you’re in. Right now, it’s $272.14 for the filing fee. Of course, there are a lot of other fees that are associated too in regards to maybe getting a process server to get them served. There’s also the initial cost for the retainer or the attorney to get started. That can be complicated but it’s something we can certainly work on together and try to get you the representation that you need and get the process started.
